NOTICE OF EMPLOYMENT
Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following positions in the Rivers State Judiciary.
Pursuant to the Rivers State Magistrate Courts Law, No. 2, 2004, the Rivers State Judicial Service Commission, by this notice, announces vacancies in the Office of Magistrate in the Magistracy of the Rivers State Judiciary, and hereby calls for expression of interest/application from suitable candidates for appointment as Magistrate of the Rivers State Judiciary.

POSITION AND QUALIFICATION
- LEGAL/RESEARCH ASSISTANT.
Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Barrister at Law (B.L.). - HIGHER REGISTRAR.
Qualification: A University Degree or its equivalent. - CONFIDENTIAL SECRETARY.
Qualification: University Degree or Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies. - CLERICAL OFFICER.
Qualification: WASC/GCE/NECO (at least five credits including English Language and Mathematics). - BAILIFF.
Qualification: WASC/GCE/NECO/SSCE (at least five credits including English Language). - MOTOR DRIVER/MECHANIC.
Qualification: FIT III+ Valid Driver's Licence + WASC/GCE/NECO/SSCE (with at least three credits with pass in English Language and Mathematics). - CRAFTSMAN.

- SANITATION PERSONNEL.
Qualification: First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) or its equivalent. - SECURITY PERSONNEL.
Qualification: First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) or its equivalent. - MESSENGER.
Qualification: First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) or its equivalent. - Applicants for the positions 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 must in addition to the qualifications specifically indicated, show evidence of CERTIFICATION in BASIC ICT APPRECIATION.
- Applicants for all positions must not be more than 40 years of age as at 30th of April, 2023.

Salary
The positions are pensionable. Salaries are in accordance with Public/Civil Service Salary Structure.
